Tokio Marine Kiln appoints new Head of Political Violence and Terrorism, Asia Pacific

Singapore, 14th February 2025: Tokio Marine Kiln (TMK), a leading international specialty insurer, has today announced the appointment of Jack Skinner as Head of Political Violence & Terrorism, Asia Pacific.
Skinner is a Political Violence and Terrorism underwriting specialist who brings nearly a decade of experience to the business. He joins TMK from Talbot, where he served most recently as Class Underwriter. During his time at Talbot, he spent two years in London and seven years in Singapore.
TMK’s Political Violence & Terrorism team has enjoyed significant growth across APAC in recent years, providing a broad suite of products, from sabotage and terrorism to malicious damage and active assailant cover.
Skinner’s appointment further enhances TMK’s position as a Lead Market for Political Violence and Terrorism in APAC. In his new role, he will focus on further expanding TMK’s presence in key markets across the APAC region and accelerating the team’s growth, alongside Grace Li as Political Violence & Terrorism Underwriter.
