TMK expands leading cyber offering with specialist hire
Thursday, July 24, 2025
London, 24 July 2025 – Tokio Marine Kiln (TMK), a leading specialist insurer, today announces it has appointed Lucy Fraser as a Cyber Risk Analyst as it continues to expand its cyber risk offering.
Fraser brings nearly a decade of experience to the role. She joins from the Association of British Insurers (ABI), where she was responsible for advising members on cyber policy requirements in the London Market and leading the ABI’s engagement with the Government on key sector issues. Prior to this, she led on economic crime and cyber analysis in her role at the City of London Corporation. As such, she brings an in-depth understanding of the sector as TMK looks to drive its growth ambitions in the class.
The news comes at a critical time for the market amidst a series of high-profile attacks, particularly against the retail sector. TMK has continued to scale its offering to clients, expanding its cyber risk mitigation arm to combat this with proactive identification and management of risks that can help clients prevent malicious activity.
Laila Khudairi, Head of Cyber at TMK, comments:
“Cyber insurance coverage has evolved past being an indemnity only policy. It is a partnership with our clients, where we help them reduce their exposures and navigate the fast-changing world of cyber risk.
The advent of AI is equipping an even larger number of criminals with the ability to build exploits efficiently. Lucy’s expertise will further enhance our market leading offering to clients and help them stay one step ahead.”
Lucy Fraser, Cyber Risk Analyst at TMK, adds:
“Cybercriminals have evolved and specialisation is now the norm. Hackers are now focusing on specific stages of the cyber kill chain with multiple groups working together to find weaknesses in a company’s defences. It’s truly alarming how quickly malicious actors are growing their networks and operating at huge scale.
In my work at the ABI, I was impressed by the significant impact of TMK’s cyber resilience work. The risk mitigation capabilities are a key part of why I am so excited to join the team as it looks to build on its world leading approach to cyber resilience partnerships.”
