Thursday, March 5, 2026
London, 05 March 2025: Tokio Marine Kiln (TMK), a leading specialist insurer, has strengthened its growing Portfolio Solutions team with the appointment of Sarah Tidbury as Portfolio Solutions Underwriter. She joins the team with immediate effect and reports to Rob Jarvis, Head of Innovation Underwriting.
Tidbury brings more than 20 years of underwriting and portfolio management experience across multiple commercial lines. She joins from Liberty Mutual Insurance where she most recently served as a Delegated Authority Underwriter, managing a broad portfolio spanning financial lines, credit, reputational damage and innovation. Prior to this, she held senior underwriting positions at RSA London and AIG London.
Her appointment reflects TMK's continued investment in innovative portfolio-based, cross-class insurance solutions, particularly those distributed through a range of channels such as algorithmic platforms, broker facilities, consortia, and cover holders.
Rob Jarvis, Head of Innovation Underwriting at TMK, said:
"We're delighted to welcome Sarah to our Portfolio Solutions team. Her deep cross-class experience, technical expertise, and ability to develop innovative solutions make her a stand-out addition as we continue to grow our capabilities. As demand for portfolio-based insurance continues to grow, driven by digital placement, algorithmic underwriting and diversified risk strategies, Sarah's insight will be invaluable as we enhance our capabilities and expand our position in this evolving market."
In her new role, Tidbury will focus on assessing and structuring portfolio deals across multiple lines of business and geographies, working closely with brokers and clients to tailor solutions to their needs as TMK continues to broaden its technical expertise and market reach.
